About to Intro to Computer Science

Computer science is a field that covers nearly every aspect of our lives today - from video games, to the Internet, to even our cell phones.

This course covers the wide-range of different computer topics to give the student a better understanding of how things work and how things work together. Topics include the history and principles of computing; input, output; data representation, storage, and file organization; computer hardware, networking and data communication; social, economic and ethical implications; computer security and privacy. 

You will also get a flavor of the true power of the science by solving problems using the QBASIC programming language.
